Leadership With A Legacy:

The backbone of UNUM One Foundation is its team of seasoned executives.  With diverse experiences spanning decades in business development, finance, education, and philanthropy.  Their collective experience and passion ensure that UNUM One's initiatives are pragmatic, forward-thinking, transformative, impactful, and sustainable.

Michael A. Stubblefield, PhD

Michael has extensive experience in higher education, government, and public sectors. As a senior University research officer, Michael has a remarkable track record of securing contracts and grants from various federal agencies, including the US Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, NASA, and the National Science Foundation.  

Tina L Taylor

Tina is a seasoned executive leader with a career spanning nearly three decades in top leadership positions. She is a business leader, angel investor, and an economic advisor. She works globally and especially in Africa  advocating for women and girls in STEM and financial inclusion. She 

also mentor emerging businesses and invest in tech startups.

Ed Dudley

Ed is the founder and Managing Partner of L2P Financial Partners a financial services firm, Co-Founder of Shining Light in Darkness a nonprofit, and founder of We Are Connect-ED a professional networking & business consulting collaborative. He has served in various Senior leadership roles in the financial industry, including Wells Fargo Advisors and FSC Securities.  

Luria S. Young, PhD

Luria has spent most of her professional career in higher education and currently serves as Interim  Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost at Southern University and A&M College. She is a  Professor in the science/ mathematics education doctoral program and leads several externally funded programs, including the National Science Foundation. 

Desmond Miller

Desmond is the Development Director for the Boy Scouts of America, Occoneechee Council. As the  Development Director, he has been able to connect more underserved communities to the benefits of the Boy Scouts of America Programs. Through his efforts, he has developed programs in 12 counties in the Triangle area.
